Description
The Colossus is built for cats that break normal cat trees. Maine Coons, Ragdolls and other large breeds put loads on platforms and posts that standard towers are not rated for, and the result is usually a wobbling structure the cat abandons within a month.
Eleven sisal posts is the structural answer. Spreading the load across that many uprights keeps every level rigid under a heavy cat, and it happens to give the animal eleven separate scratching surfaces distributed through the tower.
The large perch at the top is cut for a big cat's actual footprint, and the cat house and hammock give enclosed and slung options below it. The finish is a neutral tone rather than a bright novelty colour, so a tower this size does not dominate the room it stands in.
