The removable top perch is the detail that makes the Halden last. Perches take the worst of the wear on any cat tower, and being able to lift this one off means it can be cleaned properly, or swapped, without the whole tower becoming waste.
Three tiers keep the tower at a height that suits a normal ceiling room and a cat of average confidence. Not every cat wants to be seven feet up; plenty prefer a mid height spot with a clear view and an easy way down.
The big hammock hangs within the frame rather than off the side, so it stays stable when a cat jumps into it. The finish is a neutral grey chosen to disappear into a room rather than announce itself.
