The Nopal is the single column version of the cactus tower, adjustable so it braces between your floor and ceiling regardless of room height. That tension is what holds a tall, narrow tower steady without a wide base eating the corner of a room.
Branching arms give a cat staged footholds on the way up rather than one long climb, which is what makes tall towers usable by older or heavier cats instead of just young athletic ones. Each arm doubles as a perch at a different altitude.
Sisal wraps the trunk, so scratching happens on the tower. Dangling balls hang at cat height to give an idle animal something to swipe at, and the hammock provides the one soft surface among the rigid ones.
