Description
The Ovella borrows the egg chair shape for a reason beyond looks. The high curved back wraps around a sleeping cat on three sides, blocking draughts and cutting down the peripheral movement that keeps a light sleeper half awake.
Raising it on a stand does two things. It lifts your cat clear of cold floors and floor level traffic, and it turns the bed into a piece that stands on its own in a room rather than something tucked against a skirting board. At roughly 4.4 lbs the whole assembly is light enough to move but weighted low enough not to tip.
The cushion inside is soft where the woven shell is firm. That pairing is what makes a structural basket comfortable, and the cushion comes out when it needs cleaning.
